Attention Langston Seniors and Families – Graduation Information
The time has come to start preparing for Graduation 2026! At Langston, we celebrate two graduating classes each year—January and June.
- Some seniors will graduate in January 2026, while others will graduate in June 2026.
- Seniors have the opportunity to participate in both their home school graduation ceremony and the Langston graduation ceremony in June. Students may choose to attend one or both.
Important Information for Langston’s Graduation
- Langston’s graduation ceremony will take place in June 2026.
- Tickets are not required for family or guests.
- Seniors who are graduating only at Langston must pay a $25 senior fee, which covers:
- Langston cap and gown
- Senior activities
- Check/Cashier’s Check/Money Order: Payable to ‘Wakefield HS – Class of 2026 Senior Fees’.
Important Information for Home School Graduations
- If your student plans to attend their home school graduation, please reach out to the school around February 2026 for the following:
- Graduation ticket information – all Homeschools have their own ticket system.
- Confirm the ceremony location and details
- To participate in your student’s home school’s ceremony, seniors must pay their home school’s senior fees. Fee amounts and deadlines will be posted on the Langston website later this year, or you can reach out to them directly.
- Please note: High school graduation locations have changed this year.
Next Steps for Seniors
- January & June Graduates – Please check in with Ms. Argenal in the main office. Before leaving in January, all January graduates must complete the Senior Google Form.
- All Seniors – Please check with your counselor to confirm whether you are scheduled to graduate in January or June.
- Diplomas:
- January Graduates Diplomas& transcripts will be available mid-February.
- June Graduates- Diplomas & transcripts will be available in early June, and transcripts will be available in mid July.
